CHRISTIAN
Christian is a German-born automotive specialist and racer with over three decades of experience in European car engineering and motorsport.
After beginning his career with an Audi & VW apprenticeship, he went on to compete in rally events across Europe before moving to the United States.
In Houston, he built two successful automotive repair shops focused on German and European vehicles while simultaneously pursuing competitive racing. He later founded ACG Racing, building his own race car and team.
In 2025, Christian made his Pikes Peak International Hill Climb debut, finishing with an impressive rookie time and ranking that marked a major milestone in his racing journey.
NICOLE
Nicole, born in 1982 in Houston, Texas, discovered her passion for cars early—drifting for the first time at 16 in Wisconsin and mastering control of her first car, an Audi 4000 Quattro, in snowy conditions.
In 2010, she and Christian opened their first German and European automotive repair shop in Houston.
By 2018, she completed the SCCA Driving School and earned her competition license.
Today, Nicole competes in SCCA US Major Championship and club events, races an Audi TTS Quattro in the Southern Conference Touring 1 league, participates in all-women car events, and actively advocates for women in motorsport—aiming to inspire the next generation of female drivers.
Nicole Ghimbos founded ACG Racing in 2019. ACG Racing is a motorsport racing team dedicated to not only winning but also pushing the limits of success on and off the track.
